In effect the way people live their lives today makes it very difficult to be able to remove or reduce emissions from the atmosphere; on the other hand it is not even possible to stop any activity in order to allow the atmosphere to absorb the pollution produced by humans.
Moreover it must be considered that if the history of pollution follows human history, the concentration and localization of pollution follows humans also…. In some areas of the globe, where the presence of humans has not been established, pollution does not exist, while in the great metropolises clearly the maximum peaks are caught on record. |
